These last two games have been about as mixed a bag as you can get. After a 2-0 lead against Colorado, the Bruins promptly surrendered two goals in the same period and giving up the game-winner to Matt Duchene with 13 minutes left in the game. But the Bruins came back with a three-goal second period against the Red Wings that carried them to a 3-1 win.

Krejci Scores First Goal in Eight Games Against Red Wings

After starting off the season with seven goals and seven assists in his first eight games, Krejci had gone seven games without scoring a single goal and was credited for just three assists, even going on a three-game pointless streak. After no points against the Avalanche, Krejci scored the eventual game-winning goal against the Red Wings.
It started when Loui Eriksson shook off rookie Dylan Larkin and gave Krejci a long breakout pass that made it directly to the blade of Krejci's stick. Then, just barely avoiding Krejci danced past Detroit defensemen Jakub Kindl and fired a rocket past a surprised Petr Mrazek to make the score 2-0.
Bergeron With Two Goals And Three Assists
Patrice Bergeron has continued to do well and has scored five points in his last five games. With 16 points to David Krejci's 18, Patrice Bergeron is giving Krejci a run for his money at the top of the Bruins leaderborard.
Last game against the Red Wings, Bergeron scored the first goal of the game after converting in a nice play. After Zdeno Chara launched a wobbling clearance into the neutral zone, Matt Beleskey batted the puck down from midair and deflected it to Bergeron, who skated down the right side and fired a shot off of the pads of Petr Mrazek. The puck bounced over Mrazek's head and Bergeron sealed the deal by whacking the puck in while it was behind Mrazek.
Torey Krug Scores First of the Season
After 10 assists and 43 shots on goal, Torey Krug finally scored his first of the season, making Adam McQuaid and Zac Rinaldo the only Bruins with eight or more games that have yet to score a goal. With 44 shots, Krug now leads all Bruins defensemen in shots on goal.
It started with Brad Marchand skating freely into the neutral zone during an ill-timed Red Wings line change. After Marchand pounced on the puck in the neutral zone - leaving only Mike Green on defence while the rest of his teammates tried to scramble back to their zone - he swiftly skated into the offensive zone and prepared for a one-on-one battle against Mike Green. Then, he saw Torey Krug gliding down the center of the ice, unguarded. Marchand fed a pass from his backhand to Krug, who rifled the puck into the net.
Rask Makes 22 Saves, Has Impressed in Last Four Outings
In net, Tuukka Rask made 22 saves on 23 shots and has a save percentage of .933 since giving up five goals on 19 shots against Dallas, arguably the nadir of his season so far. Rask was named the first star of the game by NHL.com for his performance against the Red Wings, and one could argue that he may have turned the corner.

THREE STARS OF THE BRUINS
- Patrice Bergeron - He's been doing consistently well of late and scored 16 points in 16 games so far.
- Tuukka Rask - As I said before, he seems to have turned the corner and recovered from his early-season slump.
- David Krejci - Like Bergeron, he scored a goal and an assist in his last two games.
